Citric Acid is used as a safer alternative to passivating 5%-10% by wt. solution for passivation of newly constructed stainless-steel Brewing equipment and piping. Please refer to the Triton Chemical Passivation SSOP for further information.  Citric Acid FG can also be used to make your own custom sour formulations.
